Adrian Talia is an Australian and internationally trained Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in foot and ankle surgery. He was born and raised in Melbourne, studying at The University of Melbourne before completing specialist training in Victoria, obtaining FRACS in 2023.
Adrian completed a trauma fellowship in Melbourne before fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, UK. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship at Swiss Ortho Center in Basel, Switzerland.
Whilst overseas he gained skills in all aspects of foot & ankle surgery including ankle replacement surgery, joint preserving surgery for ankle arthritis, hind foot fusions and large deformity correction, arthroscopic ankle fusion, management of ankle instability and ligament conditions, flatfoot corrective surgery, sequelae of congenital foot disease and management of forefoot conditions such as hallux valgus, hallux rigidus and lesser toe deformity.
He has an academic interest and continues to publish in academic journals and present at international conferences.
Mr. Talia returned home and joined Melbourne Orthopaedic Group in 2024.
