Credentialing Process for Medical Specialists & Surgical Assistants
Ramsay Health Care implemented an electronic credentialing system, eCredentialing/eMercury in 2015.
What is eCredentialing?
eCredentialing is a software system providing a secure, online portal for Australian health professionals to create and manage their clinical profiles. The application allows you to complete your clinical profile and upload your CV, Registration and insurance documentation all in one secure, accessible and centralised location for quick and easy submission when requesting accreditation or reaccreditation.
The information entered via the portal is stored in a database and may, at your direction be shared with other Ramsay hospitals at which you seek accreditation. Each individual hospital can then consider your application, verify the information provided as part of the accreditation process and communicate with you electronically regarding your application and accreditation.
